Every year near the first day of spring, the cliff swallows come back from their winter retreat in Argentina to return home to San Juan Capistrano in Southern California. Recently as I was thinking about this phenomenon of nature, I realized that deep down inside each of us there is also a similar “homing instinct.” Whether we realize it or not, we all yearn to come home to God.
